 Katie Barrowman is a Development Officer with Glow, Scotland's national schools intranet. She is a secondary English teacher, but quickly realised she had a passion for the use of ICT to support and enhance learning and teaching. As part of her role, she supports national events being run through Glow, and works with partner organisations from all fields to bring opportunities to schools that they might not otherwise be able to access. She sees her role as connecting classrooms across Scotland and beyond, encouraging collaboration and sharing between practitioners across all levels of Scottish Education.
